A Basic NFP Quiz

Do you run into people who still believe that natural family planning is the rhythm method?  It's only for Catholics?  It doesn't work?

I designed an easy NFP quiz.  No matter who takes the quiz-- teens, college students, single adults, married couples, retired people-- most flunk it.   So here's a new education mission:  Why not use different layouts with this quiz, but keep the questions the same?  Layouts may include various seasonal and holiday motifs, including Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day.  It's a good idea to place the quiz at various locations: health fairs, bazaars, waiting rooms, etc.  My hope is, a year from now many more will successfully pass the quiz!   Here's the quiz.  See how well you do!

Please Answer, True or False
  1. The birth control pill is ranked as a Group 1 carcinogen (World Health Organization), including higher risks for breast cancer, liver and cervical cancer.  A woman who takes birth control pills before her first child is born has at least a 40 percent increased risk of developing breast cancer (Kahlenborn).
  2. Natural family planning (nfp) is good marriage insurance.  Couples who practice nfp have less than a three percent divorce rate, according to a study conducted by the Family of Americas Foundation.
  3. The Creighton Model FertilityCare System, a method of natural family planning, is 96.8% effective for avoiding pregnancy.
  4. NaProTechnology, a new women's health science, is nearly three times more successful than in vitro fertilitzation (IVF) for assisting infertile couples to achieve successful pregnancies.
(The answers to all these questions are true.  for more information, visit www.losalamosfertilitycare.com.)
